Python Script Project – Washington County, UT
Chose a US county and collected data to complete project task of calculating demographic statistics with raw data
Used the ArcPy module in Python to automate the process and to ease the workflow for future calculations
Analysis included finding proximity to major highways, schools, parks etc. for certain demographics (under 18, Hispanic, over 65 etc.)
Aug 2019 - Dec 2019
LA River Parks Project - Los Angeles, CA
Tasked with finding ideal location for a new park as part of the LA river restoration efforts
Took demographics into account to ensure new park serves those under 18, below median income etc.
Identified 5 vacant sites each with pros and cons, presented results using ArcGIS storymaps

Dasymetric Mapping Project – Denver County, CO
Project required selecting a county in Colorado and creating a dasymetric population map, which shows population density and where people can’t live.
Performed a wide variety of geospatial analysis to reveal changes in population patterns
Found and preprocessed data independently, using both vectors and rasters file both formats and presented the results on a poster prepared in ArcGIS layout view
